Do you want more Confidence?

Do you keep stuff locked inside?

Do you want to feel free being you?

Doesn’t most of us want to feel this way but have this little critter inside our heads called the ego which tells us we cant, that will be embarrassing or someone might judge me, I’ll look like an idiot, I’ll look dumb, I’m not good enough etc, etc, etc, and so it goes. Well stop it now, we may all feel these things at one time or another but there are ways to move forward, get out of our own way, deal with it and gain more confidence.

I have never had much confidence and have been quite shy but I finally realized its time to take my power back and accept that I am good enough and I don’t care what anyone thinks about me. I know myself better than anyone else and as long as I know I am a good person that’s good enough for me and that is good enough for you too.

1/ Stepping Out Of Your Comfort Zone!                                            Stepping out of your comfort zone allows us to experience new things! Living in the zone can become boring and mundane preventing us from learning, creating and experiencing new things that are exciting and fun. Doing and experiencing things we’ve never done before gives us the confidence to keep on trying and the drive to never give up. We begin to believe in ourselves. We can do anything we put our minds to!

2/ Daily Goals!                                        Writing down 3 daily goals every day and achieving them is great makes at for self-confidence. By doing this and crossing off the completed tasks at the end of the day gives a great sense of accomplishment. We have achieved what we have set out to do for that day! Writing things down gives us a clearer perspective and solidifies our tasks. Give it a go and see if this works for you!

3/ Stay Optimistic!                                      Positivity can naturally make us feel more confident. If we’re positive it makes us feel good, if we feel good we can feel confident. It’s not always easy to be optimistic all of the time but if we can work on staying positive even in bad situations most of the time, we can look at things in a new light. Happy = positivity = confidence.

4/ Move Your Body!                                                                So no one can feel good sitting around on their ass all day and night, being lazy, eating crap food and watching mindless shows on tv. It becomes depressing, we start to pack on the pounds, we feel lethargic and we become introverted. Get out in the sunshine, feel the breeze on your face, walk along the beach, go to the gym, make yourself a juice, eat a fresh salad. Look after your body and your body will look after you. You’ll feel energized, healthy and happy and in turn much more confident. So do yourself a favor and do something great for your body, mind, and spirit, a little every day.

If you have any remedies for improving confidence that has helped you I’d love to hear them. Feel free to share in the comments below.
